It is important to use the correct cargo straps on your load. Even if the cargo is light weight, according to DOT regulations it still has to be secured during transport. For light weight cargo a simple cam buckle straps will be ideal for the job. Begin by selecting the appropriate size strap for your load. Too small of a strap and your cargo could come loose, too large and the strap will be ineffective. Selecting the proper size strap is especially important if you are securing oddly shaped or delicate items.
